The SB READy anthology was completed this spring by South Bend 1st graders. Help us celebrate these young authors with a reception in the Story House complete with activities and refreshments!

This spring, the library partnered with South Bend Community Schools to engage every 1st grade student in a short writing activity. Librarians throughout our system visited 1st grade classrooms to deliver books to every 1st grade student and facilitate the writing activity. These stories were collected, bound, cataloged, and added to the shelves at each library location.
