What makes a bird a bird? What can be done to help protect them from extinction? Enjoy learning about the native birds of northern Indiana as well as tips on how to help our local feathered friends.

What makes a bird a bird? Why are they so amazing? What can be done to help protect them from extinction? Enjoy learning about the native birds of northern Indiana as well as tips on how to help our local feathered friends. The first part of this program will answer those questions (and more!) in a lecture style format, leaving the remaining time to go on a guided bird walk around the library grounds. Limited supply of binoculars will be provided.
