A workshop aimed to help people learn what goes into a good resume and what resources the library has that could help you in the job searching process. There will be extra time for hands-on work.

This 90 minute session aims to teach people what it takes to create an ideal resume, how to find the right job for you, and how to use available resources to the fullest. This session includes a dedicated period of time to work hands-on with a staff member to help you create or update a resume as well as navigate the job market. Some notable skills you will learn include:

  • How to present yourself on a resume
  • Identifying your core skills
  • Learning resume formats
  • How to navigate websites such as Indeed
  • Utilizing library databases
  • And more!
