Crafting is better together! Travel back to 16th century Japan through the hands-on bookbinding method known as fukuro-toji or Japanese stab binding!

Learn about the history of this book form and make a blank books using one of three different patterns: Yotsume toji (4 Hole); Asa no-na toji (Hemp Leaf); and Kikko toji (Tortoise shell). Participants will also learn about the anatomy of a book, and bookbinding methods, tools, and terminology.
