Learn more about the natural wonders all around us as we celebrate Earth Day! Do a nature-inspired craft and learn how to protect the wildlife in your neighborhood.
Activities throughout the library for all ages beginning at 4pm including: Mini Fairy Forests, Getting to the Root of It All: Learning about Root Systems with Bean Seeds, a Recycling Ranger game (with prizes), a special outdoor scavenger hunt with special prizes, and a learning activity for pre-k kids and their grown-ups. Then at 5:30, our presenter Lindsey Spaulding will give a presentation about small-space gardening with experiential learning and Q&A to follow.
