Classroom FOnce you've mastered the basics, take your family history research to the next level by exploring new types of records.
If you've started your genealogy research and are looking to improve your methods and skills, this program is for you. In this session, we'll take a look at specific types of sources and how to track them down, including county history books, city directories, non-population census schedules, and military records. Each Intermediate Genealogy session is independent so you do not need to attend the first session to benefit from this one.
This session is aimed at people who have already started their family history research or have attended a Beginning Genealogy Workshop program in the past. You'll benefit most from this session if you have at least a little experience using: a digital family tree, databases like Ancestry or FamilySearch, and basic records like birth/marriage/death records, censuses, headstones, and/or obituaries.
