Immerse yourself in a story and take part in early literacy activities for ages 0-5 and caregivers. Then enjoy an all ages music performance by Verona Quartet! Families welcome.

Explore-a-Story is an annual early literacy event where families build early literacy skills by exploring a book together. Enjoy an immersive storytelling of My Heart Fills with Happiness by Monique Gray Smith as well as various activities geared towards ages 0-5 and their caregivers. 

At 2:30pm, join us in Leighton Auditorium for a musical retelling of A Bad Case of the Stripes presented by Verona Quartet as part of Fischoff's S.A.M. I Am, Stories & Music Program. More activities will follow the performance. All ages are welcome to attend.

Free copies of both My Heart Fills with Happiness and A Bad Case of the Stripes will be available while supplies last.

About Verona Quartet

Verona Quartet consists of violinists Jonathan Ong and Dorothy Ro, violist Abigail Rojansky, and cellist Jonathan Dormand. With members from Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom, and the United States, the Verona Quartet is in residence at the Oberlin Conservatory and has performed across four continents, including such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Wigmore Hall, and Melbourne Recital Hall, in addition to appearances at La Jolla Summerfest, Chamber Music Northwest, Bravo!
