Grow your skills in this two part Computer Basics Workshop! Master the essentials of connecting to the internet, searching for information, and browsing safely.

Join us for this two part workshop designed for individuals who want to grasp the fundamentals of the internet and learn how to navigate the digital world confidently. We will cover topics such as how to use popular web browsers and search engines, search for information efficiently, and identify reliable sources. We will also introduce you to basic online safety practices and explore the use of algorithms and cookies. Perfect for beginners looking to make the most of the internet in a safe and effective manner.

Session one takes place on December 9th and Session 2 on December 16th at the Francis Branch at 10:30 AM.

Can’t make both sessions? No worries! The second session builds on the first, but each can be attended on its own.

Participants will be provided with a laptop for use during the workshop — there is a limit of 10 laptops provided. Bringing your own device is encouraged, but not necessary.
