About Edwin (Mauricio) Mejia:

I am a self-taught visual artist, born in Managua in October 1951. Like any child, I scribbled on walls until I was seven or eight years old. I always created many drawings and paintings for myself, until family and friends encouraged me to take it a bit more seriously. I have exhibited in several countries, and this is my fourth time showing my work at this gallery in the South Bend, Indiana library. I hope you enjoy this work.
