Cacti are popular, but difficult to maintain. Be inspired by real cacti and use a variety of painting techniques & tools to create patterns & textures to design a cactus from rocks. Ages 12 - 18.

Program Overview:

- We will look at photos of real cacti for inspiration

- Talk about patterns that occur in nature and how to replicate them with paint and tools (brushes, sticks, etc)

- Choose rocks in varying shades of green 

- Decorate rocks with paint markers and optional flower blooms with pompoms and hot glue

fit them creatively into the terra cotta pot

- Light Snacks
