Explore the journey of yarn, from becoming wool to being stitched into a finishing product. Swap fabrics, take part in activities, or bring your own projects. Beginners and experts are all welcome!
Gather together at the recently reopened Centre Township Branch to explore and learn with other fiber arts enthusiasts. This event will feature a Rabbit Yarn demonstration from Pat Glenn, who will demonstrate yarn spinning using fur from her Angora rabbits. Activities will include crocheting, knitting, macrame, sewing, and more. Young ones can partake as well with activities geared specifically towards them. This event is open to all ages and skillsets.
Event Schedule:
3:00-4:00pm - Drop in and watch Pat Glenn spin Angora yarn from her Angora rabbit
4:00-5:00pm - See Pat Glenn present on the art of yarn spinning
5:00-6:00pm - Join the Crochet and Knitting Club for their weekly meetup
Other activities will be available throughout the entire event.
