Create a table top Zen garden by building and decorating your own sand tray. Make your own mini rake and take your creation home to practice mindfulness on your own time. Ages 12-18.

Table top Zen gardens are super popular in our Teen Room at Main. You can now create your own to take home! You will construct your own tray, learn how Zen gardens can help with stress reduction, mindfulness, and relaxation. Then decorate your garden with various rocks and decorations. For this program, we are using supplies created in Studio 304. We used the laser cutter xTool S1 laser cutter, equipped with a 20watt diode laser to create a custom sand tray.
