Discover some of the wild stories told about animals in the Middle Ages. Solve tricky riddles, judge hilariously bad pictures from medieval times, and put your own animal drawing skills to the test!

Led by Public Humanities Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Castelino of the Notre Dame Medieval Institute. See pictures of animals from very old manuscripts and you can try to guess what animal you see! You'll be led through some very clever animal riddles written during the Middle Ages. At the end of the program you can create your very own medieval animal drawing.
