"The resistance of KL Auschwitz prisoners was born of the need to save human life. Every single day, prisoners in the camp fought for survival, and that required taking actions of both spontaneous.
The first organizations of the resistance movement in the camp were founded by Poles. For the most part, they were people who had already been active in the underground. When in 1941, the deportation of prisoners from countries occupied by the Third Reich started, other national resistance groups also began to emerge"...
