The Art of Everyday: Junk Journaling
Crafting Connections
Tuesday, September 08
5:30pm - 7:00pm
Western Branch
Western Meeting RoomLearn a low-pressure creative practice for capturing the texture of your daily life.
Using everyday ephemera—ticket stubs, receipts, packaging, scraps of paper, and random notes—we will explore how to transform the banal into artful moments of reflection. Whether you are a seasoned paper crafter or looking for a gentle way to introduce more mindfulness into your routine, come explore the tactile joy of ripping, pasting, and documenting the beauty of the everyday.
What to bring: Basic materials will be provided, but participants are highly encouraged to bring their own "junk"—scraps of mail, interesting tags, vintage paper, or any little bits of daily life you've collected.
