About the show:

Dinner & a Book is a beloved, long-running series that satisfies the appetite of bookworms and foodies alike. By pairing celebrated literary works with menus inspired by the page, this series explores the deep connections between the written word, cooking and shared storytelling. It’s a combination of good food and great chapters, proving that both have the unique power to bring people together.

This time we welcome Midwestern mother-son duo Jyoti and Auyon Mukharji, authors of Heartland Masala: An Indian Cookbook from an American Kitchen. Find copies of their cookbook in our library catalog! 

Later, don’t miss Culturally Speaking at 6:00pm at the Community Learning Center! Jyoti and Auyon will be taking part in an author talk with book signing to follow!
