Find Creative Zest : Wooing Your Inner Artist
When you have passion for what you're writing about, it's like a new romance. You think about it all the time and grab every chance to work on it. We'll explore the participants’ interests and ponder themes that matter to them, sparking stories readers won't be able to put down. We will continue exploring how creative work parallels romance: Starting to talk to each other/gathering courage to write; Flirting/project is fun, taking off; Setback, scared/ Writer's block, faltering; Dating/scheduling regular writing time; Falling in love/passionate about project; Committed Relationship/sticking with writing project through highs and lows until it's complete. I will illustrate with examples from my life and writing work, and have exercises for the participants to work through on their own projects.
