Don’t toss it—fix it! Bring your broken bikes, torn clothes, sad houseplants, or wobbly furniture to our Community Repair Fair. Let’s reduce waste and build a culture of repair—together!

Organizations and local volunteers will be on hand to help you troubleshoot and for basic repair skills at stations for bikes, textiles, gardening/houseplants, and woodworking!

  • Up to 2 item repairs per person; for larger repairs, 1 item per person.
  • South Bend Bike Garage will be on hand for minor bike fixes and advice...free helmets for kids!
  • Sew Loved, Inc. will mend and sew, with a sewing-based learning activity to try out!
  • Bring pictures of home repair questions for South Bend Tradeworks to answer!  They will also have a window repair example to check out.
  • Sad houseplants -or- gardening fails? Unity Gardens will be on hand to make recommendations!
  • Making Four LLC can help with woodworking and provide inspiration to dive into a new skill!

PLUS volunteer tinkerers, sewers/menders, and woodworkers to repair items!!
