SJCPL is proud to present the America 250 Film Series! This film series is dedicated to showing some of our favorite films that are centered around America and its history.

A Year---1775---in the life of a spunky 10-year-old with a big heart and a love of horses. "Sometimes it's tiresome to be a girl,” sighs Felicity Merriman of Williamsburg, Va., who'd rather ride her mare Penny than take etiquette lessons. Revolution is in the air, and Felicity's father is a patriot. But her beloved grandfather's a loyalist, and Felicity has room in her heart for everyone---even the mean man who abused Penny.
