SJCPL is proud to present the America 250 Film Series! This film series is dedicated to showing some of our favorite films that are centered around America and its history. The films in this series are rated PG-13 - R, and these showings are open to adults and seniors.

The Post (2017) is a historical political thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Meryl Streep as Katharine Graham and Tom Hanks as Ben Bradlee. It depicts The Washington Post's 1971 decision to publish the classified Pentagon Papers, exposing government secrets about the Vietnam War despite legal threats. Run time: 1 hr 56 m.
