When an eccentric, lonely artist writes the truth about his own life in a green journal and leaves it in a cafe, others start writing in their own truth, which leads to unexpected friendship and love.
Julian Jessop, an eccentric, lonely artist, believes most people aren't really honest with other. But what if they were? And so he writes in a green journal about his life and leaves it in his local café. Before long, the others who find the green notebook add the truths about their own deepest selves—and soon find each other in real life at Monica's Café.
