SJCPL is proud to present the America 250 Film Series! This film series is dedicated to showing some of our favorite films that are centered around America and its history.

Hidden Figures (2016), directed by Theodore Melfi, is a biographical drama about 3 brilliant African American women—Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson—who worked at NASA and overcame racial and gender discrimination to play key roles in launching astronaut John Glenn into orbit during the 1960s Space Race. Run time: 2 hr 7 min.
