Please join us for a new bi-monthly book discussion series focusing on how our community and society can work toward true inclusion. Our 2nd book in our series, Pushout: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools by Monique W. Morris, focuses on public education and its effects on students and families of color.
Our special guest and community partner is Dr. Yvonne Murray-Larrier, Associate Professor & Department Chair in the Counseling & Human Services Department, Indiana University South Bend. Dr. Murray-Larrier is the Founding Director of G-Scored, Inc., a South Bend-based company that exists to teach all individuals ways to effectively relate to self, others and situations so they can live transformed lives in safer communities. Dr. Murray-Larrier is a change agent for marginalized, voiceless, and invisible children, youth, and communities.
